In a touching new video, Stranger Things fan favorite Joseph Quinn, who portrayed Eddie Munson, meets the actual Metallica at Lollapalooza.
In a recent video, Metallica and Stranger Things actor Joseph Quinn are featured. Quinn portrayed Eddie Munson, a metalhead and Dungeons & Dragons player who was introduced in season 4 of the popular Netflix series Stranger Things, which is a fan favorite. When Mike and Dustin (Finn Wolfhard and Gaten Matarazzo) start high school, they join the D&D club Eddie ran at Hawkins High. Eddie goes from being suspected of murder and thinking of himself as a coward during the course of Stranger Things season 4 to ultimately having a brave but tragic showdown with some demobats in the Upside Down while playing Metallica’s “Master of Puppets.” Quinn’s renowned portrayal of the kind and misunderstood Eddie was enhanced by this sequence, which also helped to establish Eddie as a popular cultural figure.
One of Eddie’s most significant scenes in Stranger Things season 4 is the “Masters of Puppets” sequence. Eddie’s story is brilliantly concluded when he chooses to defend his buddies rather than continue to run away. Eddie proved to be a likeable and endearing character as an alienated outsider on Stranger Things, and his lasting impression on viewers is apparent. Eddie Munson would be in amazement if he knew Metallica performed in his honour. Due to the support of fans and videos like this one, the character of Eddie has now received some justice after being despised by the residents of Hawkins and having only his uncle and Dustin appear to be weeping for him in the Stranger Things season 4 finale. Even though Eddie is no longer with us, it is touching to witness the actor who embodied Hawkins’ real hero spending time with other heroes.
